Construction Coordinator
As Construction Coordinator, you will contribute to our team by:
- Assisting the Site Superintendent in planning, coordinating and supervising construction activities
- Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations for construction projects by implementing the Company’s OH&S management system
- Establish, monitor and update construction schedules
- Coordinate proper procurement of construction materials ensuring timely delivery and accuracy of purchase orders
- Arrange and conduct construction field services as required
- Maintain a diary for each project daily
- Employees may also be assigned other work as required

- Knowledge of strong safety culture and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Office, excel, MS Project
- Excellent organizational skills and written communication is a must
- Knowledge of and experience in the construction industry and company operations, including materials, construction specifications, and procedures

Experience and certificates required:
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in construction coordination
- G2 license is required
- Health & Safety – Basics of Supervision IHSA is an asset
- Certification of First Aid/CPR (certificate), WHMIS is an asset
- General understanding of construction industry practices, OBC, OHSA and WCB regulations and safety standards
